Hi, I have a 2001 arctic cat 250 4x4. I was out riding the other day and when I got back home a bolt was missing on the clutch crankcase cover where oil was spraying out. Looking closer I noticed a small crack in the cover. I ordered a used replacement cover and was wondering the process of removing and installing the new one. I also ordered the new gasket. I e never worked on a atv but I am pretty handy and I am confident I can get this done on my own. Just wondering if when I take the cover off if there is anything that is spring loaded being held in by that cover internally or does the cover basically just protect the internal parts and keep the oil in? Also, it’s a little dirty from the last ride. Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
