Hello everyone
I am a new member to the group, and yes, I have a problem. The fuel filter compartment has on 2 occasions filled with gas causing me to have to drain the crankcase and change filters. Yesterday I found the liver on the side of the carb in the PRI position. What exactly is this position used for and could it be causing my problems. Got to solve quickly :)before I run out of money buying oil and filters.

Hi,

The PRI position is the "prime" position for filling the carb with fuel. It will run in this position (although you shouldn't) but if left there it will flood or cause problems like you had.

Hope this helped

Good luck & Take care

Thank you for the information. I have changed oil and filter again and am on the road. Bike seems to work fine.

Thanks again.
