I have a 07 artic cat 700 efi sent it to the dealer for a new stater they said it had spark but won’t start I get it home it doesn’t have spark can’t afford to get the dealer to fix it I have tried a new coil I have power to the cdi from stator and power at the ground I may be checking it wrong any ideas?

The manual will lead you through a process of inspection to find the problem..

Start with the easy things though, fuses, kill switch, spark plug, spark plug cap and lead. The spark plug cap could be not letting the spark through to the plug, or it could be letting the spark short to the plugs metal body..

At the back of the manual in the trouble shooting section it will tell you what parts to test for no spark, then in the electrical section it tells you how to inspect and test the parts.

triple check spark plug part number and gap. This happened to me on a cat, replaced carb, coil, battery,….turns out it was the plug….finicky little bast$&@$…
