yes the awd or 4x4 shows on the screen and there is no noise when going forward but there is a grinding noise when awd kicks in or when you need it.another shop i called told me they were telling customers not to use 4x4 unless you needed it or not run in 4x4 all the time as this could break the cage.looks like i should have bought an older machine as this does not happen because of a different engagement system.
Go to this site, click on front gearcase and this will bring up exploded view of front diff. with part numbers. Cage or sprag might be blown. Atleast you will get a better understanding of whats going on there..lol
