Hello All,

I own a 2006 Polaris Scrambler. I mistakenly connected my battery tender overnight with the cables reversed - positive to negative and vice versa.

Other than the battery, could I have damaged any electrical components. I did notice that I have had an issue where the machine dies due to complete electrical failure...no sign of electricity going to machine as indicated by zero lights... However, I noticed the screw fastening the negative cable was ever so slightly loose. Upon tightening things worked.

More general maintenance questions coming as I get ready for the upcoming season.

Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the forum. I think those battery tenders have a overload that shuts them down when hooked up wrong to keep from causing damage
