Kawasaki is really making a push for 2007!

IRVINE, Calif. (November 14, 2006) – Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. recently announced the introduction of two all-new contingency programs for 2007. The ATV and Supermoto programs will become a part of Kawasaki’s existing comprehensive contingency programs.

The all-new ATV program, which begins January 1, 2007 and runs until December 31, 2007, offers more contingency in ATV racing than ever before. Offering over $500,000, the ATV program includes the following five series covering 46 races: All Terrain Vehicle Association MX series (ATVA), Grand National Cross Country series (GNCC), White Brothers 4-Stroke National, World Power Sports Association series (WPSA) and World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS). Eligible models include the 2008 KFX®450R, Kawasaki’s newest ATV based on the World SX Championship winning KX™450F. Other models include the KFX700, Brute Force™ 650 4x4 and 4x4i, the Brute Force 750 4x4i and the Prairie® 700 4x4.

Kawasaki will also introduce an all-new contingency program for Supermoto. The program, which begins January 1, 2007 and ends December 31, 2007, will post at nine 2007 AMA Supermoto Championship series events and selected Nasmoto Regional qualifiers. Eligible models include the KX250F and KX450F championship winning motorcycles.

“Kawasaki has been at the forefront of motorcycle competition for many years and the 2007 race year is shaping up to be very exciting,” states Kawasaki Team Green™ Manager Reid Nordin. “On top of having one of the largest contingency programs, we are adding five new series in ATV racing and two in Supermoto that will further enhance Kawasaki’s commitment and dedication to racing and our customers.”

Included in both new programs is online registration, payments that are deposited directly to a MasterCard® debit card for Kawasaki riders, and the ability to redeem contingency awards at Kawasaki dealerships and more than 32 million retail locations worldwide.
