I have an older wildfire 110cc Chinese ATV with a bad head so I replaced the head and all the gaskets, the only thing that was not the same is the cam gear for the new head was bigger than the original so I put the original smaller one on the new head and installed everything on the four-wheeler it'll start up an idle perfectly but when you give it throttle it wants to bog down and die and it makes a loud popping sound through the carburetor and intake, what could be causing this problem thanks for any help anybody can give me

First you need to double check the cam timing. It sounds like it may be a tooth off. There
should be some marks on the crankshaft or stator rotor and a mark on the cam gear that must be in the correct position.
