So I have a 2008 Yamaha yfz450 with Yoshmira comp series full exhaust setup, and K&N air filter. It currently has a JDJetting 175 main jet in it but it’s running lean and backfiring everytime I let off throttle it backfires and occasionally even shooting flames. The K&N calls for a 210 main jet and I can’t find what the yosh calls for. Should I re-jet my carb with a bigger main or should I try adjusting my pin first and see how that does? Adjusting the quick jetter does nothing for me really, even almost all the way out it’s still backfiring and shooting flames. My spark plug has nothing on it which is kinda confusing as I expected it to have white dust on it. Thanks in advance for the help, i’ve been a Honda dirtbike guy my whole life and this is my first quad so kinda just getting everything squared away.
