Riding on the beachs, jumping over ditchs, riding up and down hills, we can see why so many people are enjoying quad bikes. Unfortunately, there are so many accidents and injuries have been caused by quad bikes riding. Please check below some figures I collect via internet.

• 5,791 Quad bikes related deaths have been reported in the United States since 1982
• In 2002, Quad bikes crashes resulted in 357 fatalities and 113,900 injured riders. The number of fatalities was up by 67 percent from 1997. The number of injured riders more than doubled in the same time period.
• In 2003, Quad bikes killed at least 111 children younger than 16 years of age accounting for 27% of all fatalities. 1,846 of the victims were under the age of 16, which is one of the highest rates of injuries - 778 of the victims were under the age of 12
• Children under 16 suffered 38,600 serious injuries in 2003 which was 31% of all injuries. This age group received more serious injuries than any other group.
• Between 2001 and 2007, the number of annual serious injuries treated by emergency medical professionals rose 37 percent.

The top priority we should do is address the accidents and provide correct information to help the quad bikes drivers as a lot of accidents and injuries are caused by the riders who use incorrect personal protective equipment. With correct and careful operation when drive the quad bikes, those accidents will be preventable. Here are some necessary personal protective accessories when we drive quad bikes.

• Should never assume sunglasses will be the safety goggles. It will just be cool but can not provide adequate eye protections like preventing flying insects, dust or branches. What you need is safety glass or visor and it should not block the vision of the rider.
• A suitable helmet definitely must be worn as it is the most important protect part for a safe riding. It should be fit and fastened properly.
• Wear the armour which you can easily find in quad bikes shops will prevent scratches from bushes.
• The off-road type gloves is strongly recommended as it will offer all range of protection, such as scratch from brush, prevent fatigue from vibration, and provide a good grip to help you control and handle quad bikes.
• Never ride with top boots and barefooted. You can’t count on your heels to prevent the feet from slipping of the footrests. Every driver needs boots with correct ankle support and good grip to protect the feet.

ooh, such happening really very bad while quad biking , people should follow proper rules to avoid such mishappening and save life, different riders like different bikes, depending on the type of riding they want – whether this is for sports or just for fun – and also with where they would they bikes to. You can always enjoy any of the Sports bike, Street bike and Cruiser bike. All of these motorcycles and more have the capability to give you your kind of ultimate biking experience. You can have all the fun you desire and make the most if however you want to.
Buying new motorcycles now isn’t what it used to be. Before, all you have to think about is the bike – the kind, the style, the speed – practically just all about the bike. But these days, biking now takes so much more than that. Biking or motorcycling now as well somehow requires the choice of you motorcycle accessories.
You will also have to picky while being savvy with the accessories that you will buy to go well with your bike. These accessories will facilitate easier rides and drives while keeping you safe also along the way. There are so many components of motorcycle accessories which you can buy in motorcycle specialty shops and retails outlets. Your choices can range from the glasses, bags, and helmets among others.
There are products which are particularly made for motorcycling alone, so the bag you might be using when you stay at a friend’s house over night may not be the best bag for your bike. There are saddle bags and luggage which are designed to fit the under the seat of your motorcycle and will not give you any hassle at all once you start off the road.
So now, everything is about making choices, and I hope you make the right choices in selecting the prime items you will use when you go biking.
