2004 Yam Bruin 350 4x4

Looking at buying it and doin the rebuild myself. Is there anything I should be watching for? It is coming to me in pieces, the guy tore it apart (and i think got in a little over his head) The piston skirt is mangled and broken, the conn rod is dinged up, but the bottom end seems ok. it pulls over smooth. He has all the old parts. The shop he took the jug to says it needs the piston resleeved.

What kind of a job am I getting into, and should I be looking at anything else before getting it? The price is right, its close to home, and I can't see it taking more that a weekend or two.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks
Andrew

GET A REPAIR MANUAL from your dealer designed for that exact quad it will assist you in you repair, it will give you torque specs clearances of valves etc. it is a necessity to do the proper job.
