Hi, Im new to the forum. I just got a black 07 trx400. the plastics were very scratched up so I took advice from an article posted on ATV helper and decided to wet sand one of my fenders. It looked great while it was wet but as soon as the plastic dried it left me with a hazy, faded gray instead of glossy black like the rest of the bike. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?? I tried plastic restorer and lacquer thiner. both helped but it is still very noticeable. thanks

I tried a trick I saw on YouBoob. You take a heat gun and just run it over the plastic. It melts the
oxidized outer plastic back into the rest. My quad used to be red. Now it's a faded Pepto Bismol
pink. Where I used the heat gun, it's back to red. It's not perfect and it takes time but it does work.
