We have a 1999 Wolverine 350 4x4 ATV. I sometimes have a bit of trouble shifting from reverse back to neutral. I usually just reach down, grab the foot shifter with my hand and pull it up. Probably a combination of the angle my foot is under the shift pedal and as I get older, I don’t have the foot strength to pull it up with the toe of my boot. No problems shifting in forward gears as it’s easy to push down. Does anyone know if there is a shifter handle or something similar that could be installed and then not use my foot at all?

You might be able to weld another old cut off brake pedal onto the gear lever so it pokes out the back of the lever, then you can stomp down on the front to down shift and on the back to upshift.

Thanks Mech. Funny thing is I was considering messaging you directly, but didn’t want to be a bother. I was thinking of the heel/toe idea similar to some big motorcycle cruisers that I’ve seen. I also saw a shifter handle for ATVs on the Internet, but they said it was a universal fit and I wasn’t sure if they would work on my quad. I think the heel/toe weld idea may be the route to go. Thanks again.
