I have a 2018 prowler EV. Right rear wheel bearing/hub is making noise. No longer a quiet machine they advertise. The right rear hub and bearings were replaced 2 weeks ago. Now it’s getting worse. Dealer says “yea there’s something going on with the right side with these! We’ve had a lot of those go bad. you’re lucky , your wheel stayed on!”
Any body have problems with rear axle wheel bearings?

To add to the troubles, day 330 of the 1yr warranty one of the motor controllers quit communicating. COVID kept us from getting it repaired till 1 month over warranty ended. Repair was NOT covered by warranty.

I ask again; Any body have problems with rear axle wheel bearings?

So I took wheel, brake caliper, 2” spacer and the hub off the spline... I noticed the spacer retaining nuts had the chamfered lug nuts on chamfer (dome) out and we’re thus loose as they were installed backwards. Reinstalled hub, caliper, spacer (with properly oriented lug nuts) and wheel assembly. Test ride was very quiet again !!! Now I can sneak up on wild critters.
