The Desert Cat 50 is powered by a 49.3cc oil-injected two-stroke, which gives it a peppy sound and feel as well as eliminates the need for premixed fuel. Unison says the engine produces 5.4 hp at 6,500 rpm. Drum brakes and a mechanical rear disc brake stop the DC 50. Riders will appreciate the floorboards and electric start. Reverse gear is available as an option. This quad can accommodate a 176-pound max load. The Desert Cat 50 Mini ($1,049) will arrive in dealerships soon.
