2001 Yamaha 400 Kodiak issue

Bought this bike a year ago. Rode it a few times no issues. Up hunting I stalled it and had to jump it with my portable jumper. Found it odd..
Put it away all winter and got it out today . Had to jump it. Fired right up with the jump Nd I let it idle 15 minutes. Turned it off think that might be enough to start it back up...no go...
Jumped it again and while idling I heard what sounded like intermittment shorting out or sparking around the electrical by the battery. Shut it down and pulled it all out for a visual, reconnected plugs, and fuses. All looked good.
Jumped it while I had everything accessible and I found a small box constantly clicking/chattering. Looked up the part and it comes up as a relay. I did not hear the shorting sound anymore.
Took the battery in and not sure if its good or not as it only had 3 amps so Its on the charger.
I did just put battery back in after charging doe an hour. Jumped it again, disconected negative and it stayed running and I didnt hear the chatter either.
Leaning towards battery.
